⚡️ BONUS: LEADERSHIP PRINCIPLES

Ryan Holiday: 24 Principles From Leaders of Our Past (link)

This was somewhat of a ~selfish~ rabbit hole, but others may find it useful! Ryan Holiday, author of many books on the Stoics, distills 24 leadership principles from philosophers and leaders of the past.

Some of my thoughts after reading the piece below: ✏️

- empower and inspire others so they want to step up to the line and take the shot, confidently.

- lead through inspiration not by the volume of your voice nor the blade of your passive aggressiveness.

- every one on the team has strengths and weaknesses. Generally the light shines brighter on weaknesses. Don’t get too caught up in that light, and choose to champion one’s strengths.

- figure out your “model”, or even values, and come back to it during a time of chaos or when you sit at a fork in the road.

- always be mindful of ego creep, and it’s ability to pursue your decision making.

curious if this resonated with others…
