🗣️ THE PULSE

Texas Forever: BPN Heads Back to Austin

We previously mentioned Bare Performance Nutrition (BPN) opened a satellite office here last year. Nick Bare announced on his podcast this week that he has stepped back into the CEO role. With that, he and the team will be returning to HQ in Austin and closing down the office in Nashville.

Nashville Fit Game Winners

The Nashville Fit Games took place last weekend. Check out the winner’s on their instagram page here. Congrats to all!

🥑 FOOD BITE

Turnip Truck: Salad Bar || multiple locations

I frequently visited the Turnip Truck salad bar during my teacher training at Hot Yoga East Nashville. The daily salad bar offers plenty of choices to pick your favorite veggies, proteins, and fats.

It usually cost me $12-$15. You can also snag a juice or smoothie from the juice bar, or something sweet from the snack aisle! 🙂

If you go to the East Nash location, the upstairs has plenty of room to eat and chill out before tackling the rest of your day. 🥗

⚡️ BONUS: PODCAST ON SHAPING YOUR IDENTITY AND GOALS

Huberman Lab: Dr. Andrew Huberman interviews Dr. Maya Shankar, former senior advisor to the White House, on how to shape your identity and goals. Quick takeaways:

- Redefining identity after setbacks leads to new passions and pursuits.

- Having ownership and agency over goals enhances intrinsic drive and satisfaction.

- the importance of why you do the things you do rather than what you do.

✍️ 📔 Two questions I journaled on after this ep…

What are the underlying features of the things you used to do that you absolutely loved?

And can you find the expression of that elsewhere?
